Dublin based hip-hop artist Carsten2X has dropped the video for his new single ‘Beaucoup’. The beat he delivers his lyrics over is laid-back and simplistic, with piano chords, synth interjections and plucked basslines being supported by shuffling, trebly hi-hats. His delivery is melodic and driven by lyrics, which also had a major impact on the video itself. “While I’m in the suit its meant represent my dreams: performing on stage and the girl etc.,” he says. “And then when I’m in my normal clothes: in the kitchen, on my bike, with my friends, represents my reality at the minute.” Carsten2X has more music to come in 2021. -Dan Peeke
